CALIBRATION

UNBOXING

How to calibrate, smooth & shape

A visual demonstration of how changing the position of the brake pedal stem affects the applied force. Additionally, you can adjust the sensitivity of the pedals in the included software.

  • I don't have a cockpit, but I want those pedals?"
These pedals are designed for installation on the cockpit. Just put them on the floor will not work, even with the softest settings of the pedals, they just turn over. You need a tight connection between the seat and the pedals. Otherwise, either the pedals and the seat will move away
  • How are these pedals better than the ones I have with the steering wheel?
The difference is quite large, if not huge. First of all, you should talk about the brake as the most "important" pedal. It uses a strain gauge (load cell), which, in combination with polyurethane springs, makes the braking process as predictable and accurate as possible. These sensors are also installed in the gas and clutch pedals. These sensors are very reliable and durable, unlike many well-known potentiometers. They are also designed for a long service life and have the most rigid design.
  • What comes with pedals?
The kit contains everything necessary for their operation, that is, a controller and a set of high-quality tools for configuring them.
  • What devices do these pedals work with? can I connect them to the console?
The pedals work via a USB port with a personal computer running Windows. You will not be able to connect them to any steering base. As for consoles, there is no direct support, you can try to connect via special devices, but we can not give any guarantee of performance.
  • I want to buy a set of two gas and brake pedals. Will it be possible to buy a clutch pedal in the future?
Of course, all controllers are designed to connect three pedals, regardless of the purchase of the original kit.
  • What are these pedals made of?
They are made of stainless steel, which ensures the absence of corrosion and strength with a large margin. Aluminum alloy is also used. In places of friction, fluoroplast is used (the coefficient of friction between stainless steel and fluoroplast is very low). The axes of the pedals themselves use rolling bearings, which will eliminate the formation of backlash and give a very smooth running of the pedal itself. In areas of high load is applied to the fasteners high tensile strength.
  • Can I customize them for myself?
The ability to adjust the pedals to individual requirements was one of the main challenges in the design process. For example, the gas pedal stiffness can be adjusted in just one minute from the ability to press the pedal with one finger to a fairly serious effort, where you will have to apply a decent force. With the brake the same wide range, but the hand pedal will be very difficult to sell even with the softest settings. Much attention is paid to the geometric settings of the pedals.
